About Us
BeAnUpstander.com was founded by the Dallas Holocaust
Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance (DHM/CET) in keeping with our mission
to preserve the memory of the Holocaust and to teaching the moral and ethical
response to prejudice, hatred and indifference for the benefit of all humanity.
The DHM/CET teaches about the past, to learn for today, in order to
impact the future. A not-for-profit 501(c)3 since 1984, the Museum
reaches nearly 50,000 people each year with its presentation of “History that
moves you Forward.”
The Museum is located in
the historic West End of
downtown Dallas, at 211 N. Record Street and open weekdays
from 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission
is $6 for adults
and $4
for students, groups and seniors. The Museum has purchased last near The
Sixth
Floor Museum on Houston Street in the West End, and has plans to build a
new
Museum in the near future.
